１．会社からの指示で口座開設することを示す証拠（メールのコピーでOK）を持参すると良いですよ。
２．日本語があまり上手でないならば、誰か日本語の得意な人を連れて行くと良いですよ。

2. If you are not fluent, you should take someone who speaks Japanese.
上述したウェブサイトにはこのように書いてあります。

- 在留カード
- 印鑑
- 個人番号（マイナンバー）を示すもの
- 勤務状況を示す書類（例：企業名の入った保険証や源泉徴収票、雇用契約書など）注：雇用者に雇用状況を確認する場合がございます

"Personal seal"というのは印鑑のことです。これはゴム印ではダメで、木などの硬い素材でつくられている必要があります。印鑑はインターネットで注文することもできますし、文房具屋で作ることもできます。
例えばhankoya.comでは注文して2日ほどで印鑑が届きます。ただしウェブサイトが日本語のみなのでご注意を。
The "Personal seal" refers to 印鑑（In-kan) with your name. This has to be made of wood or a similar hard material rather than a rubber stamp.
You can make your personal seal online or in person at a 文房具屋（stationary shop）.
At hankoya.com you can order your seal and receive it within two days, but the website is entirely in Japanese.
MUFGのサイトでは、「マイナンバー」がわかる書類を持参せよと書いてありますが、今回は特に要求されませんでした。米国人の場合は、ソーシャルセキュリティーナンバーの提出が必要でした。
The MUFG website mentions you must take documents to confirm your Individual Number (My Number), but at a recent visit this was not needed. Instead, an American Social Security Number was requested.
雇用状況を確認できるものとしては、名刺と会社からのEメールで対応できました。メールは、会社からの指示で口座開設することを示すために持参しました。（マネーロンダリング防止のため、在留6か月未満の外国人がプライベートで口座開設するのは結構厳しいみたいです）
理想を言えば、MUFGのウェブサイトに書いてあるような保険証とか社印いりの源泉徴収票、雇用契約書などがあると良いと思います。（ただし今回はいずれも持参せず、口座開設できました）
As a new employee, you can confirm your employment with a business card and an email confirming your employment. This is to confirm that you are opening the account by company request, and that you are not involved in money laundering activities. Aさんの場合は、「Personal seal（印鑑）はどうしてRubber（ゴム）ではだめなのか？何なら良いのか？」とか、「My Numberってなに？？」とか、MUFGのサイトを見ても分からないことが多そうだったので補足してみました。
「ゴム印不可」とか「マイナンバー」とか、日本語でつくった文章をそのまま英語にしたんだろうなと思わせる表現ですよね…
